Hip Arthritis Treatment and Joint Preservation in Bangalore
Hip arthritis have several stages and early arthritis can definitely be preserved back to normal without letting it to progress to further stages. Early hip arthritis too can be quite painful and symptomatic affecting daily life. Good thing is such patients do not need aggressive replacement surgeries which can be expensive as well. Hip arthroscopy have definite role in early hip osteoarthritis and such minimally invasive hip arthroscopic procedures can be quite beneficial in symptomatic patients just with key hole (arthroscopy ) procedures. Our expert Dr Raghavendra Kembhavi being hip preservation expert takes special interest in diagnosing and treating such conditions.
Hip Arthroscopy does two things in such patients
Understanding the type and cause of a tear helps determine the right treatment path.
It helps in delaying the need for total hip replacement or completely avoid it in some patients
Hip arthroscopy helps delay or even avoid total hip replacement in some patients with early arthritis by treating underlying joint problems like labral tears and impingement, thereby preserving the natural hip joint for longer.
It helps in quick relief of pain which were not responded with medications and physiotherapy
Hip arthroscopy can provide quick pain relief for patients who have not responded to medications and physiotherapy by directly addressing the source of irritation within the joint, allowing faster recovery and improved quality of life.
